Devastating US unemployment numbers
While talks on the debt ceiling and deficit are underway in Washington DC, a new job report highlights that numbers are way worse than analysts expected. President Obama has plenty of excuses for the for the statistics, and Les Leopold, an economist and author of the book “The Looting of America,” joins RT’s Lauren Lyster from New York to offer his insight. Simple example how the unemployment rate is wrong.
It takes 150k jobs monthly to keep up with population growth.
There hasn’t been one month in 2011 that more than 150k jobs were produced and somehow the unemployment number continues to drop. The U6 rating is the important rating (16.5%)

Check the news, The iraq war is over and the troops are coming back to fix the country, Obama estimates a legit 2 million jobs which should cover the entire 8% of unemployed. Things are looking better and better my friend, the iraq war being over begins a new era of peace and prosperity.

The unemployment rate isn’t going anywhere but up and the government knows it.
Lets just wait until the temporary workers who got jobs for the holidays are laid off.
I’m not even sure holiday jobs are eligible for unemployment.

The unemployments only at 8%, I was watching the news earlier and like a million or so jobs were just added to the market so in 2012 we’ll be seeing that 8% drop to the 5%.

so, mr. obama… if there are so many natural disasters happening how are so many police, firefighters, etc losing their jobs? Or is that just the canned response now… Economy tanks so we won’t talk about the actual employment problems, we’ll stick with blaming it on something that happens in good economic times as well as bad, and add in the poor police, firefighters, and teachers in there for good measure…
All of which are also pretty simple to solve if they gave a damn about people.
bad news republicans obama has delivered again unemployment down again to 8.6%
he got handed 3 wars..$11 trillion debts (plus bush already passed another 1 to 2 trillion to save the banks/goldman sachs/fanny mae etc) and a virtually bankrupt property and banking market..so unemployment has fallen again to 8.6% why ? because Obama invested $789 billion into infrastructure+motor industry and reduce taxes on small businesses. hes tariffed the chinese.taxed bankers.won the wars ended dictators
